An excellent protein-rich snack with 6g of protein per ball. This nut-free recipe is low in fat and carbs to offer a healthy finger food for get-togethers or a great on-the-go snack. PDF link

Ingredients:

  • 5 scoops of Level’s 100% grass-fed whey – cappuccino flavor
  • 2 Tbsp of organic chia seeds
  • 1/4c water
  • 1/3c steel cut organic oats
  • 1c shredded coconut – divided into 1/4c and 3/4c
  • 1 tbsp organic cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop of Bone Broth IQ powder
  • 1-2 Tbsp unsweetened almond milk

Directions:

  1. Add chia seed, water, and almond milk to a medium-sized mixing bowl and allow to seed to absorb liquid until gel forms.
  2. Add whey protein, oats, 1/4c coconut, cocoa powder, and Bone Broth IQ. Mix until combined (this gets thick and sticky so used some elbow grease – you want these to retain a gooey texture. Add more almond milk or protein if needed).
  3. Place the remaining coconut onto a plate. Scoop Tbsp-sized balls of the protein mix into the coconut and roll them around until fully coated and you can pick them up without your fingers sticking to them.
  4. Enjoy!
