Clean Turkey Sausage Balls

Ingredients:

  • 16oz of Italian turkey sausage
  • 5 oz of Tillamook sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3oz of Neufchâtel cheese – softened
  • 1/4 cup of almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with toxin-free non-stick paper or spray with coconut or avocado oil
  2. Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl until combined
  3. Roll into Tbsp-size balls and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 min until cooked all the way through

After graduating with a B.S in exercise science from Lagrange College, she pursued a master's in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from UWS to help others achieve the same healing that she did as a result of diet and lifestyle changes.
